I illustrated this poster for Bruxelles Environnement to launch "Inspirons le quartier," a call for citizen projects proposing sustainable initiatives for their neighborhoods.
The message needed to land simple and direct: anyone can take their neighborhood into their own hands and improve it together with others.

Creative approach
The poster's composition was the real challenge.
The client's brief called for several stories of collaboration within a single image, such as fixing a bike, tending a shared vegetable garden and restoring a small detail on a building facade. My challenge was to bring these scenes together without overloading the composition, so the viewer's eye could move fluidly through the poster, discovering each story rather than being overwhelmed by all of them at once.
I worked with multiple layers of depth, mixing flat shapes with near three-dimensional volumes to give weight to the buildings and plants, while the characters stay lighter and more graphic.
