The theme of surprise recurs throughout my work.
It can be found in a small space, seen in a different interpretation of an everyday object, or lie in an emotion.
Surprise can emerge from a bouquet of flowers or be seen in the eyes of someone who opens a book and finds within it the wonders of the world.
